But God reassured Moses that He will be with him, God will help him and God promised. God sent his brother Aaron to help Moses to talked to Pharaoh.
Moses trusted and obeyed God. He went to Egypt with Aaron and his family. The staff of God was in Moses’ s hand, and he knew that his powerful God would guide him.
Moses and Aaron went and gathered together all the elders of the people of Israel. Aaron spoke all the words that the Lord had spoken. And Moses did the 3 special signs that God gave him on the mountain. When these people saw the signs they believed God had sent Moses. They bow down and worship God.
Then Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh. He said : “this is what the Lord, the God of Israel says, “Let My people go !” Pharaoh was angry and said, “Who is the Lord, that I should obey him and let Israel go? I do not know the Lord and I will not let Israel go.” Pharaoh made the Israelites to worked harder than before.
The Israelites came to Moses and blamed them. Moses felt terrible. God reminded Moses that He was the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. God didn’t forget about the covenant He had made to Abraham years and years earlier to give His people their own land. God told Moses that He will keep his covenant with his people and God promised that He will lead his people out of Egypt to the land He had promised to give them. And he will keep His promised. God promised that He will send a Savior and He sent Jesus Christ to save us from our sin.
