Points of Learning:
I.
Cognitive: The Lord Jesus warned Peter against ‘sift’ from satan, but Peter failed. After the resurrection, The Lord appointed Peter to ministry as an apostle. God never gave up on Peter and ready to forgive him.
Affective: Children are grateful that there is God’s forgiveness for us when we sin against God.
Psychomotor: Children pray for faith to face temptations every day. Children appreciate God’s forgiveness by living in righteousness.
II.
Cognitive: After Peter became the church leader or great preacher, he still made mistake and needed forgiveness. We need to be cleansed throughout our lives.
Affective: Children realize that not because we have been Christians for a long time means that we are already perfect. We can still make mistakes and need to repent.
Psychomotor: Children want to ask God for forgiveness every day and want to be taught / guided by God’s word continuously. People who are saved surely want to learn more to please God.
