This month we learn about how Jesus sacrifice on the cross safe us all. After Jesus ascension, the believers has to continue their life on earth as Christian.
This week we learn about the Early Christian period after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, when His followers started to spread His teachings throughout the ancient world. The first Christian communities, a small but close group of Christians who regularly gathered to pray, study the Bible, and share their lives with one another, were commonly formed during this time period.
Acts 2:41–47 is a crucial verse in the Bible that details the life of the first Christians. This verse describes what happened after the apostles delivered their sermons to a lot of people in Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost, which is usually regarded as the beginning of the Christian church.
The Bible said that roughly 3,000 individuals heard the apostle’s message, accepted Jesus as Savior, and become Christian. They learn and worship together with apostle, live together to do fellowship, sharing meals, and conduct prayer.
To help those in need and to sustain their own life, they give away everything they have and sell their assets. Every day they worship together, and they have a sincere and happy fellowship.
The life of Early Christian is not easy as they face prosecution even death on the cross or in circus while the roman watch the lion killed them. But even in the midst of all this earthly suffering, they worship and pray to God in the face of death.
Being a Christian is not easy, but with Gods help, we can life in any situation with grateful heart as we know Jesus has save us from eternal condemnation.
